Demo video coming soonIsometric Hold
Holding a braced position in multiple directions is the literal job description of line play, resisting force with a still head.
No position absorbs more neck load per season than the offensive and defensive line, where contact comes on every single snap. This program builds the isometric bracing foundation, then loads it through contact-specific patterns, and finishes with reactive collision resilience. The goal is a neck that treats snap sixty like snap one.

Increase neck stability and muscular endurance to withstand repetitive high-force collisions during line play.
Line play starts with the brace. This phase builds static holding capacity in every direction and the anti-rotation control that keeps your head from being turned by a punch or reach block.

Demo video coming soonFront-to-back strength is your first line of defense against the head-snap of a bull rush or a stalemate collapsing.
Trains the head to hold its line while the torso torques, exactly what happens when you turn a defender on a down block.
Demo video coming soonSegmented holds at four points of the spin build positional strength at every angle a hand-fight can push your head toward.
Advance whenAdvance when all holds are rock solid for the full duration with no shaking or position drift.
Load and time under tension climb through the movement patterns of trench collisions. The neck learns to produce sustained force through long, grinding reps that mirror extended blocks.
Demo video coming soonSlow diagonals under heavy load build strength along the angled force lines of a double team or combo block.
Demo video coming soonLong, tempo-controlled spins build the sustained rotational bracing of a pass set that lasts four full seconds.
Small-range figure eights with long time under tension keep the neck coordinated while fatigued, matching a twelve-play drive.
Demo video coming soonEnd-range isometric holds build strength where the neck is most vulnerable, the extended positions a losing rep pushes you into.
Advance whenAdvance when you complete all slow-tempo work at Heavy resistance without form loss late in sets.
Contact in the trenches is never announced. Perturbation, fast pulses, and mid-movement disruption train the neck to brace instantly against forces it did not see coming.
Demo video coming soonPerturbation during long holds replicates the hand-fighting chaos of line play, where force hits your head from unpredictable angles.
Demo video coming soonFast diagonal pulses train the explosive stiffening that fires in the instant your helmet meets a shoulder pad.
Demo video coming soonDisruption mid-spin trains recovery of head position while already rotating, the situation when you get clubbed during a rip move.
Demo video coming soonReactive front-to-back disruption rehearses absorbing an unexpected shove without your head whipping through its range.
The 360 degree resistance head unit this program is built around, with the anchor and bands you need to train every direction from day one.

We call for an effort level instead of a specific weight, because the right resistance depends on you, the movement, and where you are in your training. For the sets and reps listed on each exercise, pick the resistance that makes the last few reps feel like the level shown.
You finish the set with several clean reps still in the tank. The work stays easy and fully controlled from the first rep to the last.
You could manage a few more reps at the end, but not many. The final reps take real effort while your form holds.
You reach the last prescribed rep with little or nothing left. Completing every rep with good form is genuinely hard.
These are starting points, not rules. Everyone is built differently, so adjust to fit you: size down if your form breaks before the final rep or a movement aggravates a symptom, and only size up once every rep feels smooth and pain free. When you are unsure, choose the lighter option.
