Demo video coming soonProtraction / Retraction
Bedside care is a downward-gaze marathon, and loaded retraction rebuilds the upright reset your neck needs between patients.
A hospital shift is hours of looking down, at patients, charts, IV lines, and screens, punctuated by hard physical moments like transfers and repositioning. This program builds the low-grade endurance the looking-down hours demand and the sturdy strength the transfer moments require. It respects shift-work reality, three short sessions a week that survive a rotating schedule.

Build the neck endurance to get through twelve-hour shifts of patient care without carrying the strain home.
Counter the constant downward gaze with retraction strength and rebuild the rotation a busy unit demands. The base is deliberately simple, because your schedule is not.

A floor nurse turns their head hundreds of times a shift, monitor to doorway to colleague, and strong rotation keeps every one of them easy.
Demo video coming soonBraced holds build the steady support your neck leans on during the sustained focus of wound care, lines, and charting.
Demo video coming soonA stable head over a constantly moving body is the physical reality of a twelve-hour shift, and the spin trains it directly.
Advance whenAdvance when end-of-shift neck fatigue noticeably drops and all movements feel strong at Medium.
Stretch endurance to shift length with long holds, slow tempos, and higher-rep flowing work. The target is a neck that feels the same at hour eleven as at hour one.
Demo video coming soonLong retraction holds directly train the sustained upright posture that a full med pass or a long procedure demands.
Demo video coming soonPatient to monitor to chart is a diagonal circuit run all shift, and higher-rep diagonal work builds endurance along it.
Shifts mix slow deliberate checks with sudden urgent turns, and varied-speed rotation trains the neck for both gears.
Demo video coming soonSlow continuous spins build the aerobic base of neck endurance, the quality that decides whether hour twelve feels like hour two.
Advance whenAdvance when back-to-back shifts no longer stack neck fatigue from one day into the next.
Train for the physical spikes of the job, transfers, repositioning, and the unpredictable moments patient care delivers. Perturbation work leads because patients move unexpectedly.
Demo video coming soonA patient who shifts mid-transfer yanks your whole frame, and perturbation training teaches your neck to stay aligned through exactly that.
Demo video coming soonBracing against unpredictable pulls builds the reflexive steadiness for boosts, rolls, and the catch when a patient stumbles.
Demo video coming soonFull-range diagonal strength covers the extremes of care work, from floor-level emergencies to reaching over a bed rail.
Flowing full-range movement is the recovery valve, keeping a hardworking neck supple instead of letting shift tension set in permanently.
The 360 degree resistance head unit this program is built around, with the anchor and bands you need to train every direction from day one.

We call for an effort level instead of a specific weight, because the right resistance depends on you, the movement, and where you are in your training. For the sets and reps listed on each exercise, pick the resistance that makes the last few reps feel like the level shown.
You finish the set with several clean reps still in the tank. The work stays easy and fully controlled from the first rep to the last.
You could manage a few more reps at the end, but not many. The final reps take real effort while your form holds.
You reach the last prescribed rep with little or nothing left. Completing every rep with good form is genuinely hard.
These are starting points, not rules. Everyone is built differently, so adjust to fit you: size down if your form breaks before the final rep or a movement aggravates a symptom, and only size up once every rep feels smooth and pain free. When you are unsure, choose the lighter option.
