Reduce Risk Of Head
& Neck Injuries

For every 1lb. increase in neck strength, odds of concussion decrease by 5%.

- Journal of Primary Prevention, 2014

"If you take a blow to the side of the head, you are going to spin the head on the neck. It’s the type of injuries that lead to concussions."

- Dr. Robert Cantu

New Helmet Testing
Incorporates a 'Neck'

Starting November 2019, safety testing on all helmets will measure rotational forces on a test dummy with a 'neck' to allow for more realistic movements.

Youth & Female
Athletes

Leading neurologists point to weaker necks as a reason youth and female athletes suffer the highest concussion rates. Female concussion rates are nearly double their male counterparts, when comparing the same sport.

Why Is Neck Strength
So Important ?

The neck is our head's built in shock absorber and can be critical in slowing head acceleration after an impact. Whiplash and rotational forces are often overlooked aspects of concussions but can be mitigated with proper training. The neck isn’t confined to linear directions of movement. Your neck training protocol shouldn’t be either.

We are incorporating the Iron Neck in different types of concussion prevention training, mobility and rotational work, and shoulder strengthening as well.

- Lyle Henley

"

Iron Neck is very effective at strengthening the neck. One of the huge benefits for me is core training. I can train stability through multiple plains at different angles and get more advanced progressions than what I’m used to.
