Reduce Whiplash, Reduce Concussions

The Brain's Shock Absorber

Nearly 4 million sports-related concussions occur in the US every year. A growing body of research agrees that neck training is an effective way to proactively reduce concussion risk and the effects of whiplash.

In 2014, the Journal of Primary Prevention conducted a study with 6,700 high school athletes (boys and girls) and concluded: “for every one pound increase in neck strength, odds of concussion decreased 5%”

Additional studies have further identified thinner/weaker necks in youth and female athletes as a leading factor for higher concussion rates.

Neck Pain

'Text Neck' is Destroying your Spine

Did you know...?

Text neck and posture issues are an epidemic. A recent study published in the journal 'Surgical Technology International' shows that when you are standing or sitting straight your head actually weighs 10 to 12 pounds. However, when you are hunched over at a 60-degree angle looking at a mobile device, your head can put as much as 60 pounds of strain on your neck!

Whether you're an amateur mixed martial artist, a pilot, a dentist, or you spend your day sitting at a desk working on a computer, there's a good chance you suffer from neck pain. There's an even better chance you aren't doing anything to fix it. You're not alone. According to the World Health Organization, musculoskeletal conditions affect more than 1.7 billion people worldwide, including nearly 1 billion people suffering from chronic neck and back pain
